Build Your Own Adirondack Chair -

15 HOURS (5 weeks) $100 plus Materials Fee. -  Next Class begins January 2018

This course is for those who would like to learn how to build your own Adirondack chair. No Experience Necessary! . Cost for Materials is $40.00 or bring your own. Safety glasses required

Basic Home Repair  class closed for fall 2017

30 HOURS (10 Weeks) - $180.00 plus registration fee - Class is Closed for Fall 2017

This 10-week course introduces the basic fundamentals of electricity, plumbing, and carpentry. Students will become familiar with the concepts – and the most commonly used hand tools – of each of these three disciplines and will gain hands-on know-how. By the end of the course, they should be able to recognize each tool, describe its features and common uses, and be comfortable using it for basic home repair. The objective of the course is to empower students – through guided experience – with the confidence to take on many common household repairs, because they will be familiar with basic home electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems and will have practical experience using the tools of each trade.

Basic Masonry Home Projects

30 HOURS (10 Weeks) - $180.00 plus registration fee -  Next Class begins January 2018

This is a hands-on course. Projects such as walkways and patios using paving bricks, retaining walls use of the new interlocking block and the building and repair of brick stairs will be demonstrated. The student will also learn how to build both brick and block walls with mortar and stucco finish. Safety Glasses required

Basic Woodworking class closed for fall 2017

30 HOURS $180.00 plus registration fee -  Next Class begins January 2018

This course is for the beginner or for those who have some experience and will cover the Carpentry and Woodworking fundamentals as well as emphasize familiarity with a wide variety of hand tools and power tools. Simple projects allow the new students to apply principles learned or for experienced users to work on a project of their choice. Safety glasses required  Mondays 6:00-9:00PM
